It is not uncommon to see people fishing from the east pier (the wooden one about 3/4 of a km around the waters edge, and the most likely catch is mackerel.

Those fortunate enough to have a boat, or have the money to hire a pleasure boat can go out into Loch Fyne for a spot of sea loch fishing.
