Tarbert has a small yacht club which offers sailing membership and tutorials for young and old through a selection of boats.

The harbour provides a fairly safe tutorial ground, but also allows berthing of various size yachts.

Loch Fyne is host to the annual Scottish Series Yachting Regatta and offers an exciting and challenging yachting experience, and of course importantly connects the Clyde to the Crinan Canal and then on to the western isles beyond.
